The Casa del Virrey is a property constructed in the colonial era, in the 16th century, at the petition of Antonio de Mendoza, Viceroy of New Spain. It is from this man where the name of the hotel originates. Its contemporary Mexican style is a perfect combination with the quarry rock walls and the exclusive Spanish tiles, a prime example of the mestizo fusion of that era.
